• » General Required Maintenance and Service
• » Major Maintenance After 40,000, 80,000, 120,000, 160,000 miles or major maintenance must be performed after 4, 8, 12 years whichever comes first.
• » Diagnosis system, reset maintenance interval, read and record range information, scan for fault codes.
• » Change engine oil and oil filter
• » Visual inspection for leaks underside and engine compartment, oils and fluids and abrasion to lines and hoses.
• » Underbody panels: visual inspection for damage underbody panels.
• » Check coolant hoses condition
• » Radiators and air intakes: Visual inspection for external debris and blockage
• » Coolant: Check level and antifreeze
• » Replace air filter element
• » Replace cabin air/pollen filter element
• » Visual inspection for damage fuel lines, connections, leaks, routing and corrosion.
• » Visual inspection of the brake pads and brake discs for wear
• » Check parking brake lever
• » Check the clutch pedal play and end position
• » Visual inspection of the steering gear, dust boots, tie rod ends
• » Visual inspection of the axle joints dust boots for damage. Check the screw connections of the front and rear running gear adjustment points are secure
• » Visual inspection of the drive shafts dust boots for leaks and damage
• » Visual inspection for leaks and damage of the exhaust system, mounting and heat shields.
• » Check condition and tire pressure
• » Check cabrio firewall body drains for debris
• » Check the door lid, locks, safety hook of the front lid for secure seating and function properly
• » Check seat belts function and condition
• » Check all lighting function and setting
• » Check horn function
• » Check windshield wiper/washer system, headlight washer fluid level and nozzle settings (use winter antifreeze during winter months)
• » Check battery condition and electrolyte fluid level
• » Check electrical equipment, warning and indicator lights function
• » Replace spark plugs every 40,000, 60,000 miles or every 4 years
• » Check drive belt at 40,000 miles or every 4 years
• » Check drive belt at 100,000 miles or every 10 years
• » Check drive belt at 160,000 miles or every 16 years
• » Maintain and care for convertible top at 20,000 miles or every 2 years
• » Additional maintenance 60,000 miles or every 6 years
• » Replace drive belt
• » Replace fuel filter
• » Change all-wheel drive controller oil
